FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Clarence-Rockland, March 18, 2019 – Thanks to the success of its 2018 edition, the Défi Coureurs des Bois Challenge will be able to present this year nearly $20,000 to the community. The Challenge supports projects that promote physical activity and healthy eating, that promote environmental preservation, that highlights the richness of its culture, heritage or natural region.

Not-for-profit organizations that have such a project to be held between

May 1st, 2019 and April 30th, 2020 are invited to submit a donation request. The deadline to submit an application is April 21st, 2019.

About the Challenge

The Défi Coureurs des bois Challenge, the largest obstacle course in the region, is in its fourth year. This must-attend event will be held on September 21st in the Lavigne Natural Park in Bourget.

Three unique courses are offered to participants: Elite (7 km), Adventurers (5 km) and Explorers (3 km). Participants will have between 30 and 45 obstacles to overcome! A nice challenge to take up!
