THE 2018 EDITION OF THE COUREURS DES BOIS CHALLENGE IS LAUNCHED!
Rockland, Ontario – July 1st 2018 – The Coureurs des bois Challenge is proud to launch its next edition, to be held on September 22, 2018 in the Lavigne Natural Park in Bourget, Ontario.
Dignitaries Francis Drouin, MP, Guy Desjardins, Mayor of Clarence-Rockland, and Nicholas Fournier of the Fournier Denturology Clinic, partner of the Challenge, all gave their unconditional support to this unifying project and raised its importance in the community. Chantal Lalonde, President of the Challenge, presented the novelties for the 2018 edition, including the redesigned courses and the growing number of obstacles that will please participants.
“The Challenge is much more than an obstacle course. It’s an opportunity to get together and enjoy the outdoors while highlighting one of our most beautiful natural parks. It’s also an opportunity to attract people from outside and make them discover our beautiful region ”, says Chantal Lalonde. “Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to set personal goals and to challenge yourself”, she adds.
The Coureurs des bois Challenge took the opportunity to donate to the following organizations, which shared an amount of ,000:
- Regroupement autisme Prescott-Russell de la SFOA
- 2nd Rockland Guides and Pathnders
- Tucker House Renewal Centre
- Club de gymnastique Les Sitelles
- Club Optimiste de Clarence Creek in partnership with Ste-Félicité school
The Challenge also thanked the many volunteers for their dedication and commitment to this activity that contributes to the vitality of their community.
